Project background
The mine was trucking ore over a long haul road before reducing it, which added cost and wear on the fleet. The operator wanted to reduce material close to the face.
What U-win supplied
U-win supplied a track mounted jaw plant with a hydraulic folding hopper and side conveyor, sized to the ore and the target product. The unit was commissioned on site by U-win engineers with operator training included.
Outcome on site
Ore is now reduced close to the face before hauling, and the plant can be walked to the next working area as the pit advances.
